Physical Therapy

What is Physical Therapy?

Physical therapy (PT) uses specially designed exercises and equipment to help you alleviate pain, restore physical function and mobility, and encourage physical activity.

Dedication

We devote 1 full hour one-on-one sessions with your therapist for each of your appointments.

Consistency

You will be paired with the same therapist for each of your appointments for effectiveness and to develop a trustworthy relationship.

Science-Based

Everything we do is with a purpose and proven to be effective. We won't waste your time with modalities or treatments that don't work.

What would you gain at our physical therapy center?

An Active Approach

At Live to Move Physical Therapy & Wellness, we take an active approach to your care which means we build a therapeutic alliance to empower you, and not a therapeutic reliance in which you depend on us. We impart the knowledge and means necessary for you to help yourself improve your condition as we help you along the way. This active approach to care allows you to continue to progress successfully after discharge from therapy.

Evaluation

Our doctors perform a thorough evaluation at your first appointment consisting of functional and objective measures such as strength, range of motion, flexibility, balance, etc. The therapist will use the results of the evaluation to develop a treatment plan, which consists of a timeline with goals for you.

Direct Access

In the state of Texas, you are allowed to receive physical therapy treatment for ten consecutive business days before a referral is required to continue with treatment.
